Description and Specification for Lab Tenders
Pituitary Gland And Hypothalamus.
The Pituitary Gland is a heterogeneous collection of numerous cell types
that have the capacity to respond to specific stimuli and release
hormones into the systemic circulation. There are various Hypothalamic
releasing or inhibiting factors, each of which alters the hormone
secretion pattern of one or more anterior pituitary gland cell types.
Neurosecretory cells in the Hypothalamus secrete releasing and
inhibiting hormones to the anterior pituitary by way of a capillary
network and a portal vein. This Model has been designed for the help of
Medical Doctors to show the Pituitary Gland and Hypothalamus.
