A horizontal glass tube with one end vertical to take a plant shoot and the other end connected by rubber tubing to narrow bore glass tube with a scale. A vertical limb on the tube is connected to a thistle funnel by rubber tubing fitted with a spring clip. Mounted on a wooden stand to which the plant shoot can be attached for support.
