Food Calorimeter.
This simple to use methodology involves the measurement of the amendment
in temperature of a sample of water from the combustion of atiny low
quantity of food.
The Food Calorimeter allows students to work out the number of energy
free through the burning of food. The included experiment introduces
ideas in thermodynamics and leads to an understanding of energy and its
respect to food consumption.
